Well, when you're as hot as David Beckham, sometimes you have to travel to the Amazon not to get noticed.

Which is exactly where the British hottie has spent the last few weeks, visiting both the Amazon and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he was spotted departing on a flight to London this afternoon.

The 38-year-old hunk looked sexy as ever sporting a black leather jacket, skinny dark jeans, a matching newsboy cap and brown boots. He carried an army green backpack and a pair of shades as he strolled through the airport, wearing a stoic expression as paps snapped pics of the former L.A. Galaxy star.

The erstwhile soccer stud went on a two-week jungle expedition for a BBC documentary about Brazil and has reportedly been spending the last 14 days cooking, fishing and camping with three pals for the 90-minute film.

And Becks even headed down to Latin America to film in secret, proving there are indeed places where the famous father of four can travel to without being recognized.

According to reports, the unnamed documentary is set to be screened in June on BBC One, ahead of the World Cup.

BBC One's Controller Charlotte Moore provided further details of the documentary in a statement. "In this special documentary for BBC One, David Beckham embarks on a top secret expedition to the Amazon that will see him encounter the other side of Brazil and journey through the tropical rainforest, a TV first for the global icon."

Victoria Beckham's other half most recently made headlines when he was named Underwear Model of the Century by Tommy Hilfiger.

Which is just one more reason to swoon over the tatted athlete when the documentary airs on the boob tube.
